This Privacy Policy explains how HanziAsk (“the App”) handles information when you use the App.

1. We do not collect any personal data

HanziAsk does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data or user data.

This includes (but is not limited to):

• Name, email address, phone number
• Device identifiers (including IDFA/IDFV)
• Location data
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Search history or content you enter in the App
• Voice recordings or audio files

2. Permissions and voice input

The App may request system permissions (such as Microphone and Speech Recognition) to enable voice input features.

• HanziAsk does not record or store your voice.
• The App does not upload or store your audio on our servers.
• Speech recognition is performed using Apple’s system services (e.g., the iOS Speech framework). Any processing required for speech recognition is handled by the operating system and its providers under their own policies.

You can enable or disable these permissions at any time in your device settings.

3. No third-party services

HanziAsk does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking tools, or social media plugins.
